Should I keep on trying to be friends with someone who doesn't want to be my friend?
You could always try but you also have to realize that there's a reason why they don't want to be your friend. You ask them why, discuss the problem, and then after all that effort if they still don't want to be your friend, then walk away from the friendship.
How do you know if  someone likes you?
This certain person might talk to you more or make the effort to catch up to you and walk you to your classes. Another way, might be by the way they look at you. It might be different, a look he/she  gives you and only you. He/she might text you or talk to you after school more than often. And if you're lucky they just might tell you straight up.
What do you do if you break up with a guy and they still like you? What if you don't like him anymore and you also don't want to hurt his feelings?
Well, you have to seriously evalute your feelings because in the end you don't want to have made the wrong choice. You have to be sure you don't like him and you want him to move on before you tell him to do so. When you are sure of that, you have to break down it easy and as nicely as you can. If you still want to be friends with him, you have to let him cool off and let him have his space before you can try to make the effort to go back to the way you guys used to be. Good luck!
What do you when you and your best friend like the same guy and the guy likes you, but you say no because you don't want to hurt your friend?
Even though it might be a bummer for you and the guy to have said no, you're doing the right thing. If you guys really like each other then you could wait until your friend stops liking him and then maybe pursuade him to have a relationship. If she doesn't understand your feelings after a period of time then she is being unfair to you. Or you could quit on the guy completely because at the end of the day a friend is forever and the guy might not be.
Should I be best friends with someone who doesn't act like they care about my feelings?
If they act like they don't care about your thoughts and feelings then you shouldn't put up with that because if you really care about that person then it's only hurting you. But before you walk away from your friendship with them, you have to dig in and find out why they don't care.
